Shakhtar Donetsk player Mykhaylo Mudryk talks about his future. He admitted that he really wanted to be an Arsenal player.
Mykhaylo Mudryk has started the Champions League campaign very well this season. He contributed one goal as Shakhtar beat RB Leipzig 4-1 in Germany.
After the game, Mykhaylo Mudryk spoke to CBS about his potential for Arsenal. The player who operates on the left winger says the London Meriam is a good team.
"I think every player dreams of the Premier League. It's difficult to say (which team to follow), but Arsenal are a very good team, a very good coach, I like the way they play," said Mykhaylo Mudryk.
"From my side, I can't say no (to Arsenal). But the transfer is not just my decision," he continued.
Arsenal had reportedly been interested in signing the player from Ukraine. The Gunners are said to have asked for 26 pounds, but were rejected by Shakhtar.
Arsenal changed their minds in the next opportunity to be able to get Mykhaylo Mudryk, who is still only 21 years old. Arsenal were willing to pay him £43m as requested by Donetsk, in the end the transfer never happened.
